Laurie Poole, RN, BScN, MHSA

Laurie is the Vice President, Clinical Innovation at the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). For the past 20 years, Laurie has assumed leadership roles with increased responsibility in health system transformation, particularly in the area of chronic disease management. Currently, she is overseeing the scaling of a provincial telehomecare program in Ontario which is bringing virtual health care to communities and homes.

A registered nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Laurie is also the Past President of the Canadian Society of Telehealth. In 2014, Laurie was recognized by the Canadian Women's Executive Network for her contribution to the public sector. In 2016, she was elected to the Board of Directors for the American Telemedicine Association. She is a recognized expert in telemedicine and has presented at a number of national and international conferences. Laurie currently lives in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in Eastern Canada.
